This Obidome ( obi ornament over an obi) may remind you of the universe.
Those universe-like patterns are etched in an acid liquid. Then silver is fused to the surface.
The back of the piece is silver plate, polished and plated with rhodium.
It can be also used as a necklace, threading a chain through the bridges.
The copper surface is urethane-coated, so do not rub it hard to prevent the coating from peeling off.
