This type of copper-based accessories is named “ Ryudo “, originated by Tae Kufukihara, a skillful metal artist.
This obidome may remind you of something like stone pavement. These abstract patterns are etched in an acid liquid. Then silver is fused to the surface.
The back of the piece is silver plate, polished and plated with rhodium.
It can be also used as a necklace, threading a chain through the bridges.
The copper surface is urethane-coated, so do not rub it hard to prevent the coating from peeling off.
